Post by: Gokul S on January 23, 2019, 09:49:06 PM
which is the best material to build an RC plane for beginner, I came across coro sheet, foam, balsa wood but each material has its own problem and own advantage but which i should use for my first RC plane with single motor

Well I haven't used anything except coro till now and I can assure you that coro is crash resistant, I have crashed my tiny trainer many times, but never needed to fix it.
Building process might get hard at the start but you will find a way around.

coro is definitely one of the best, crash resistance ,
we have one coro pusher in our fleet , which is almost 7-8 yrs old. have survived hundred of crashes so far.

Welcome to RCI.
The answer depends on wether you wish to learn to fly RC airplanes in the long term, or are just tackling a one time project.
For learning to fly, the best options are foamie models like Skysurfer, Easystar etc
For a one time project, the best material is the one you can get most easily, be it balsa, depron, or coro.
