Here's the video from a parade I watched last July in Washington DC.

Captured at 720p 30 fps setting. Clips joined in GoPro Studio and exported to mp4 720p @ 50 bps (somehow increased file sizes 3X).  The details are crisp considering shaky handheld shots.  Hoping Youtube compression will not generate too much quality loss.  Hope this helps GoPro users out there.
