Hostile behaviour? Who? Who is hostile? Who is sabre rattling? Who is perpetrating the 'ahimsa' doctrine and at the same time inviting trouble? Who is fostering terrorism? Who is allowing the folk dance of Arunachal Pradesh to be showcased in the Beijing Olympics as a 'Chinese Dance Form'? Who is visiting China / Pakistan for fostering 'Bilateral Agreements'? What a joke!

how will you stop the heavy machinery made in China from being imported to India, my father is an industrialist and deals with power plants, sponge iron plants and guess what ? all that came from China... i am not taking side here or acting stupid.
being an economics student, i say,

why cant we Indians study harder and make our nation better??
work more and be wise to your nation and see the difference. :salute:
:'(

Aditya bhai, I do understand that.... it's not easy to shun all trading ties with them at once.. Moreover it might never be needed.... Chinese people surely do have cheapest manufacturing cost round the globe.... there is no harm in doing trade together.... but what if someone try to misuse that money against us ourself...... I only intended to say, that we all being individuals need to send a strong message to them via such methods, that you cann't do trade and bullying simultaneously

and yes Indian & Chinese people are neck to neck everywhere, be it no. of GRE students going abroad for higher studies or otherwise they are racing close...... Its manufacturing cost where their trade secret lies

Regards

Whoever be the culprit of all your questions but I am sure its not us common people.... Why shall I be questioned for actions of Indian & Chinese governments...... Why the hell I am being held accountable for what they have done or are doing...... The method which was called for is in my humble opinion, the best possible way to vent our frustration out on them without any diplomatic complicacies, would you tell me where I am wrong about that?

And you tell me why I have been asked so many questions as I have been standing for President of America elections???? I simply opined about expression of anger in most subtle way. You nowhere mentioned about what I said about our space missions. If Chinese people are really that cost effective why would anybody bother to usr our services to launch their sattelites??

You are being held accountable because you started this tirade/ We were happier flying our planes and sailing our boats and racing our cars without you.

Keep your not so 'humble opinion' to yourself and let us live our lives as we deem it fit.

You've been asked questions because you exposed an interest and/or tacitly invited the members to question you by posting this redundant thread. Hell with you, young man, you are just a candle burner. Burn in peace - somewhere else.

Free speech is an awesome power but it must come with responsibility.  Anone can say I just expressed an opinion but if it incited a riot or if it was said in an unreasonable manner, there should always be accountability.

Surely everyone has ideas to try and improve systems and everyone uses criticisms to say something isn't working. And from both angles, the activists try and pull people to their side to get them to act to become activists too.  But usually, you have to "sell" change by showing the benefits.

Let's just say that all the RC hobbyists today, that we all agreed today to stop buying Made-in-China products, how does that improve our lives, how does it improve the leisure time we spend relaxing in this hobby?  Does it improve suddenly if we buy RC products made in Germany?

Desiclad, you are facing some skeptics here about your idea.  If you present the evidence that proves the RC community will reap tons of benefits by buying from other countries that make RC products (ESCs, brushless motors, etc), this is your time.  You now have the floor and we are all ears.  Please focus on RC products.

Why the Hell you guys just keep chanting the RC COMMUNITY word so untiringly!!!!!......

Do Hobbyists and other people have different responsibilities towards society???....... You simply trying to segregate hobyists from rest of people..... "I asked why to keep filling Chinese pockets if they ultimately wish to use it against we people"!!!!!! Why the hell anyone on earth would love to so!!!!!!!  And if you still believe I was wrong kindly leave me with my thoughts and you keep relishing the leisure of flying

I simply said can we look towards Taiwan, Korea or other places to fulfill our needs..... no one botherd to answer that!!!!!!!!!!   Instead I have been being wrongly held responsible for calling to buy from Europe Germany, where the hell I mentioned these places!!!!!!!!

You all chose not to answer my query part, why cann't anyone of you suggest me some place where I find non Chinese produces???.......

And this place is not a private sphere.......If it is really and if my opinions are really so 'Redundant', please ask admins to take care of it

Underlying frustration of your thought is understandable, and it has nothing to do with shunning Chinese Goods it is in theth Hindi 'Bebasi', why aren't we self sufficient why cant we be another Chinese Market? making products at competitive costs? you have given the answer yourself, Cut Down the production & transportation cost

Answers lies on the table of the Policy Makers of this country, if following things are ensured, there are enough entrepreneurs who will do wonders

(a) Kill red-tapism
(b) Create a climate for Prosperity, by (a) Helping Startups (b) giving Land and other assets under govt lying underutilized (c) Go easy on tax
(c) Kill Corruption
(d) Improve infrastructure and transportation
(e) many other things only a business man can think off :banghead:

Point is, Shunning is not the solution 'Self Sufficiency' is 'Promoting Entrepreneurship, however small is' , with 1.2 billion cant we beat China or any other country ? 'hell we can', policies have to play ball, system has to be re-vamped, we got to strive individually.

There are Two ways of winning 1. Strive and Win 2. Pull opponent down and win (Hate to use this 'Like the Great Indian Crab') )

Aren't you suggesting 'Pull Opponent down and win' ? FFT

Let me give you historical examples of how policy change changed the situation/country's face

(a) Mr Manmohan Singh's economic policies
(b) Removal of 'Prohibition' which actually put people like Al Capone out of Job
(c) Policies on Gold Import which killed Gold Smuggling by the Mumbai underworld in the 70s

many such examples are there for us to see

Sir Dear Sir, I just can't express how delighted your posts make me..... I am glad that you are around & talk sensible stuff  :hatsoff:  :hatsoff: , unlike others Who JUST, leave it....

Sir if I may I would like to bring it to your notice that in my earlier post I suggested that folks around with lots of Hobby experience and who has been running similar business can form a conglomerate to take care of self sufficiency...... Atleast we can start it with our own indigenous ESC where hardware requirements are not too difficult to meet

Warm Regards

;D Anytime old chap! I enjoyed the tête à tête too. No hard feelings.

Honestly, I too feel frustrated to see the Indian Govt. do NOTHING to help our small scale industries. We could have been producing Brushless motors, ESC's and LIPo's in no time at all at prices that are more than competitive as compared to Shantou/ Guangzhou.

The saddest part is that fine brushless motors are manufactured in India, yet, they are for EXPORT ONLY. Just like the generic medicines that could save lives of millions of poor people.

I thank you for giving me an opportunity to vent my frustrations.

Incidentally, + 1 to you...........

I just added a point to your Reputation, strangely it hasn't increased from 1 to 2. I wonder why?
