Title: Tolerance - A Dying Art, even on the web....
Post by: martian2121 on November 24, 2009, 03:29:19 PM
Of late, after going through various forums, blogs and communities on the internet, I get the feeling that there is a rapid decline in tolerance on the Internet.......maybe I am paranoid........ maybe I am wrong.........but then, anyways, this is my feeling.
Internet has been a haven for all in society, be it the perfectionist or the misfit, in that it is a community where everyone is allowed his say irrespective of anything.........whether the other person takes it or leaves it is his issue or choice, but everyone is allowed his say irrespective.......
Today, a person is made to feel more insecure on the net to voice his opinion on a subject in his style and lingo. Nobody is forcing the others to respond, but responders respond with lots of  :banghead: and  :argue: ofcourse it is their freedom of speech too........... but then sometimes it really does feel that a little bit of tolerance would go a long way in making life on the internet more productive and enjoyable.
Maybe this is just a me thing  :headscratch:  ??? ...... but then......... if at all anyone else does feel the same way....... do voice ur say..........lets  :discuss: ok  Good day to all.

People who are older and wiser say that patience is a better virtue than tolerance.  Patience is sort of unique in that it can lead to tolerance, AND it can nullify the need for tolerance (expected from others).

Have some heated arguments every once in a while, it is good for your heart  :giggle:

Instant world  differences are  instant settlement is also instant . Like Noodles  ;D  nothing wrong with it .

Everything has positives  and negatives , could we have had forums in the first place without internet  ???  so that is a positive  so there has to be negatives  with it  that is what life is all about .

This post is being made by the most tolerant guy around I guess  :P :P ;) :D :giggle:
