Getting ready to photograph this rarest of rare celestial spectacles, I just shot this as a test.
(90mm Refractor Telescope + Plossl 17mm Eyepiece + Moon Filter + Sony Cybershot)
Stargazers don't miss it, this is a "Once in a Red Moon Opportunity". :thumbsup:
Hey Nice Pic VC.
beautiful pic VC bhaiya , waiting for more :D
Thank you. I will try to oblige - it all depends on how long I can stay awake. The show ends at 03:32:15 hours tomorrow. Wish me luck.
i am also out with my telescope its Newtonian one its little bit cloudy over here
Man proposes, God disposes.
From a clear night sky, it has now become completely overcast with thunder rumbling. The Moon is now hidden behind a thick layer of clouds and that, I think, is the end of all my preparations. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
>:( same here no sign of rain the only thing bugging me r mosquitoes ....but i still have hopes VC sir thats bad
I am covered in Odomos, Baygon spray - you name it. Wife won't let me enter the bedroom because of the stink! I will have to sleep in the guest room tonight. No wife, no moon, no photographs, how sad!
>:D :giggle:
Till now I cannot see the moon due to heavy cloud in Kolkata.
Only a few small opening comes and I checking the moonpath if it can be recognized.
Waiting from start of eclips.
Even I couldn't see the moon :( Waited till 1.30 am, went to the roof, went out on the road, disturbed the street dogs, they started a war against me, barking loud at me. And I was roaming out on the road in my shorts and banyan with a wooden plank in one hand and a cam in the other. ;D
Lol... That was a different 'total lunar eclipse' experience. It was clearly visible here at Cochin, saw photos in some dailies. Will post the links in the eve.
:iagree: :giggle: :giggle:
There were nice pics in the front page of Mathrubhumi daily Cochin edition today {:)}
Here is mine, I was unable to wait until it starts :sleepy:......
