Hi Guys

Got an opportunity to visit the trade fair at Pragati Maidan. I was very delighted to see National Aerospace Lab under CSIR had set up a stall there. They had some nice equipments and information displayed there. Also they had 2 MAVs designed by themselves , one with a inverse zimmerman planform and the other had a eppler 61 airfoil. It featured futaba s3114m servos and guess what....they had the turnigy lipo from hobbyking  :giggle: . Also got to know a lot of things like NAL in collaboration with Mahindra Aerospace is designing a small civil aircraft...saw the HUD a fighter pilot sees in a jet...boy o boy they had a huge roll of carbon fiber and products for aerospace application..and much more. It was a very informative experience.

Also visited the defence expo and there were some nice models of various aircrafts, missile, frigates etc. All in all a very good experience. Will update with more pics shortly.

The material they said was modified acrylic..not divulging much about it.

The yellow MAV also featured a small color camera + autopilot and hence the x-bee module to transmit data back.

HI Atul

They were only selling die cast models for 2 planes..a Cherokee and some other..but highly overpriced. I dont think they would be interested in selling MAVs  :giggle:. Except for the fuse we can easily get all other components easily..so best of luck making your own..lol
