Are girls scared of the propellers? Do they think this is just another silly thing guys like? 

It gets worse with RC cars.

Like most people, they don't appreciate the complexity involved.

I don't think girls are afraid of propellers .But yes I think learning to appreciate the complexity of this hobby takes time and effort ,whether you are a boy or a girl . This takes patience -dollops of it ,that's what I'm learning . Also it's an expensive hobby so for girls maybe it becomes a choise between 2 Zara tops and a RC plane . Maybe Zara wins ..

Lol tops being compared to planes now u know why u dont see girls on rcindia

now what i am saying might not be true for all girls. The best insights will probably come from girls who hate RC. I on the other hand love RC flying and exceptional so probably not the best sample to consider.
Good thing would be to ask some of your women friends who hate RC why they hate RC
