Funny.  I grew up with many friends driving old beat up Karmann Ghias and Bugs.  My best friend John and I built plastic models growing up.  Then he  turned his hobby into his dream step by step.  First working from home, going to old rich people's garages and restoring their old Porsches (1960's models).  John invested in machining tools and started making his own parts.  And now in the world of old Porsches he's world famous and has his owm shop and collection of vintage Porsches.
