My buddy code collecition site has undergone a couple of changes and there is some new functionality.

There were 2 functions on the buddy code page namely, adding new buddy codes and browsing/searching available buddy codes. It is still on one page, but both functions are moved to a tab. By default you will arrive on the tab with available codes. If you want to add your new codes, then click the tab 'Add buddy codes'.

The tab pages look like this:


The list of available codes hasn't changed, but the tab to add new buddy codes has and will continue to change the coming time. I have added a box that will be filled with text that you can copy/paste to forums. If you past the text into a new forum reply and you will see something like this:

Dear Anwar Sir,

Can you please move this note in my first post of this thread. Its important information.

Note:- The buddy code can only be used once and that too on a single item. It mean if i buy a battery using buddy code discount the code is used and i can only buy one battery with that code. Hope it helps.

I came to know about his when i tried to use my own buddy code on a nano tech battery i recently purchased. someone already used it so if i click the link it shows the discounted price but after adding it to cart the original price is shown. 

for me it still shows discounted price even after adding to cart ( I tested with your lipo link)

i am chatting with online support and its working for them too. somehow is not working for me.

Update: u can not use ur own buddy codes. only ur buddies can. thats why its called buddy code. but i confirmed with HK that a person can own more than one account. so if u get a tempting buddy code then make another account with diff. email and use it.

i purchased 2, 2200 3s lipo using above buddy code from reply #52 from crazy pilot, and $16 battery cost me only $10 so total is only$20!!!! i think buddy code is applicable for more than one time!!!!

i think buddy code is for others and not for, who created it!!! i also tried to use my own buddy code but it didnt work!!!!!

I tried with a new account also but no use. Its not working for me.

When I open the link to that Nano-tech (with the account that I always use), I get the price of $ 10.27, also when I add it to cart.

I have not official word from HK, but I know they don't like people posting before and after prices. They are afraid that other distributors/retailers complain about the low prices and that manufacturers don't want to sell anymore to them or ask higher prices.

I really made this to attract more people to my sites main purpose (categorizing the international warehouses) and it seems to work.

Hey Dutchman, Good job for site but i was reading the HK forum other day and many ppl were complaining about your kind of sites which u already mentioned in above posts. HK has stopped stocking Spektrum Radios after having problems with manufacturer because of openly announced after rates. I hope other products dont follow suit.

Although the Buddycode works only once, if anyone has used the buddy code link provided by you, that code will be inactive, due to any reason the code does not become inactive, although the person using it will get a discount but you will be given a credit only once in the lifetime of that code.

I read that too, but you post only part of the whole story. The Spektrum issue is not a valid excuse here since the swarm function (as it was called before it became buddy codes) didn't even exist when Spektrum stopped supplying their products to Hobbking.

I think it is foolish to think that sites like mine will help manufacturers/distributors find out what kind of before/after/*no mather what* prices Hobbyking gives to it's customers. If they want to know, they will create accounts themselves or use proxies if needed. If Hobbyking contacts me and asks me to pull the after prices, I will do that probably, but I don't see a valid reason as of yet.

Not surprising considering some of the t**sers who pop in from time to time, satisfy their little egos, and then butt-out.There needs to be an intelligence test to be passed before admission to forum can be permitted.

Pick the correct answer from the following scenario:

A. By following the Hobby King rules you can purchase an XXXXX kit from Hobby King for $50; or;
B. You can purchase an XXXXX kit from your LHS for $250 because Hobby King no longer stock XXXXX.

I know you were not criticizing my site, sorry that I gave you the feeling that I did. I read the thread you linked to. On your quote where we can pick between 2 scenarios, I think the correct answer is not listed. If HK cannot buy the item from a manufacturer, they will find a factory in China who will make it for them.
