+1,
Even when not comparing Apples to Apples and giving Pline models advantage (no canopy, proper motor mount, sub par cellophane covering, no decals), How you compare below available for :Rs: 3800 :

Even Mr Irshad used to sell his 60" 55 Size Low/Hight Winger for below :Rs: 3500 mark!
Apart from 'Nobality' factor, I dont think these planes should cost this much.

This is even more true for the :Rs: 13600 mark for RTF. Rotor.co.in is selling 40 Size RTF Nitro Trainer for Rs 16,000.

Please do an 'Available' market study before zeroing down to prices, if you really want to sell. Gone are the dark days of close economy. Today with Internet, the youngest member of the forum (Class 8th?) can find the right price for items.

Nevertheless, the seller is always free for deciding his price. Just my :Rs: 2 for newcomers.

+1 ujjwaana and Augustinev.

Even I think what links provided above are very well built ARF models, covered and decaled. Even these models will work out cheaper than Foamie ARFs like Cloud-fly and Easy star. But only problem is availability with RCD.

Any ways very business will have teething problems.

Happy to see one more RC Manufacturer in India.

Pradeep sir, I vividly remember seeing this model at India Hobby Centre on the day we met. Do you remember seeing it, Palash was talking about it! I may be mistaken though.

Nilanjan one other thing, of your 31 odd posts you have only been posting to sell stuff. Never took time to share your experiences with us mere mortals, the wealth of knowledge that you apparently have, if penned, won't go with you, will live in this cyber space forever, have you ever considered that? Or is it that I am mistaken , and one of the flavors of RCI is a free ad space.? I wonder

Nilanjan, Do business in your business field which is known to you. You have expert workers with specialization knowledge and this bulsa kit is only for reselling. So, while doing this specially in hobby field, with so many expert, please give competitive price; otherwise you will surely loose soil below your foot.

Don't try to become 2nd IHC specially here. All seniors here are tries to make more easier, cheaper and better with their hearty effort like VC, VK, SAI, RCBazzar to populate this hobby while you are going opposite. Feeling sad for Kolkata.
We have to unite and to prove ourself to make indigenous products as well as marketing / Canvasing them. I'm sure we must achieve success if we try unitedly.

Not sure if this total negative reaction is helpful.  If the prices are high, state it once with sources pointing to alternatives, and leave it at that. Why question people's motives etc :headscratch:

Help them price it right, and help more RC related manufacturing locally.

Friends you all know I am a brass Garden Railway manufacturer (and perhaps the only one in India),and this was a joint venture between me and my old buddy Palash as we are trying our hands at balsa models.
Your suggestions & comments about the pricing will surely be paid heed to.
Thanks
Nilanjan

Wonder how I missed this! This is hilarious AND enlightening. As far as the involvement of one particular person is concerned, as Rohit said, "Bingo!", some pieces of a jigsaw just fell into place. Some disjointed bits of conversation and his total apathy towards supplying balsa glider kits suddenly begins to make sense. But, that is another story.............................
Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional!

I must say it was rather discouraging to read about what most people had to say at my first attempt in trying to commercially produce and promote my company's first RC Electric kit/ARF model balsa planes.
Anyway have uploaded a few videos on my webpage of the model's test flights, here's the link

For all and sundry,
The word 'aircraft' is used with the same plural form as singular. Meaning plural for aircraft is aircraft not aircrafts
