Piano wire are good for micro models like this one
But for regular models u can use .5 mm wire
Go to hardware store

If you are using a conventional receiver you may have to use a servo. (2g) An actuator may not be strong enough for an outdoor model.
However, enamelled copper wire can be extracted from electronic  inductors or relay's.


For the ESC, you can add a smd mosfet to handle more current.Have a look at the pic below.

Yes, you can use irf530 mosfet. But they weight around 2g each!
