hi!
so as some may know, i am finishing up on my cessna 150, but i recently came across some Problems while building...
on the first flight, there was too much lift, and the shoulder of the wing was weak, and so, the wing folded mid air, causing the aircraft to come crashing to the ground...
i have strengthened the wing now, but i want to install struts under  the wing to make it stronger... any suggestions on how to make them and what material is best for them??

thanks,
Aniket

PS: i have tried wooden chopsticks so far... :P

Struts are not required if you can adequately strengthen the dihedral joint.

Secondly before you go for a full power launch this time .... Glide the plane
from shoulder height over some longish grass ... This will give a idea of the basic trim

@saikat.... when i first flew the plane, it was a ground takeoff.... throttle was at 80%, and with a slight elevator,(50%) it went vertical. i gave corrective elevator, and thats when the wing snapped upwards.. so far i have tried strengthening the dihedral, but no luck... so i want to keep struts....
thanks!

It sounds like you had the cg too far back

keep it at 30% of chord

@saikat.. Yup.. I just balanced it now... It tips backwards when balanced on the thickest part of the wing
