Prabal:

1. I bought the Cold Weld circa 1998 in Muscat, Oman
2. The Pushrods are 2 mm spring steel, available locally
3. I started this build 2 1/2 weeks ago. I use 5 minute epoxy, SR 998, Hot Glue and Cyano none of which take much time to dry

The real challenge has been that I can only devote 6-7 hours a week, and a lot of time goes into figuring out how to adapt into a corro build, with materials, tools and techniques available to me. If you see the original plans (http://www.outerzone.co.uk/plan_details.asp?ID=6597) you will appreciate the complexity of conversion. I only use the outer dimensions from the plans. The sheer size of the model leads to a different sort of corro build, not the usual. Which, actually, is the fun  ;D

Time to leave this, and start on the wing

Wing is 2.5 mm corro. A 1 0 dihedral at 71" span translates to 1.3" approx.

Planning to put 4 ribs for....Good Luck?  :D :D

Although the spar is 12 mm balsa, I don't think it will be enough

Thank you sir!!!
Best of luck!
Be on the lookout for my new plane!  ;)

Wing continues. It's a big wing, and the Corro is not very strong, so additional reinforcement

Sir how much the landing gear weighs
Regards,
Tanmay mathur

sanjayrai55

About 65 grams without wheels (wire frame only)

Tanmay.mathur

Not right place but still how landing gear is mounted directly on coro surface .
Would a harsh landing will tore the coro and landing gear wires will go inside the fuse ?

Tanmay mathur

Awesome build sir ! Well documented !
Is it safe to screw directly  to corro ?
Are those wood seen in the fuselage are fully balsa / whether it's normal 5mm ply ?
It's all about beging in air

Very much the right place to ask this :D

Look again. There is a 5 mm plywood Landing Gear plate on the inside. The LG nylon clips screw into this.

Thank you Karthik and a3

a3: which wood are you referring to? There is Balsa & Ply both used extensively. Also, which screws?

a3ruz

Wood inside the fuselage , n screws used to attach the tail gear .

The thin sheets are 2 mm light ply
The triangle stock and square section is balsa
The crews are not fastened to corro. Look carefully: I have made a 'strap' from pieces of an old credit card. The screws go into that
