sir;
Excellent plane!
Another question.
How is the hitec optic 6?
Is it a good radio?
Any other good radios for that price range? 12k to 18k?
(if i buy something like that; ill have to save up a lot of pocket money. ;D ;D)
Regards

Legendary reliability. Does most everything you ask of a Radio Set. Cheap Receivers available at Hobby King: Delta 8 recommended

If someone is coming from USA then get it, or get Taranis X9D

sanjayrai55

Many people praise the Turnigy 9X coupled with FrSky Mod. Personally I feel the Taranis has better quality hardware and better features

Radios are not something you buy everyday; if you are in the hobby for the long haul, might be better to invest in a good radio. JR too has some good deals

prabal276

Thank you very much sir!
i do not think that there is anybody coming from the us.
If somebody had been; i would have got spektrum series. ;D ;D
Ill go for taranis X9d.
now just to find it in india. :headscratch:

You can just do well with the Turnigy 9x and Frsky Combo..but yes the Taranis does feel solid and premium. Better gimbals..though the software OpenTx is not that user friendly..but manageable. If going for Spektrum go for Dx7 or higher as they are said to have the best quality gimbals and the feel is very nice. But with Taranis you can always be sure of a solid radio link.
What Sanjay sir has told is absolutely true..if you think you are going to stick around this hobby for a while get a good radio...also keep in mind while buying the radio look at the cost and availability of the receivers. You don't want the receivers burning hole in your pocket  :P
Spektrum receivers cost a bomb(comparing to Frsky receivers) and don't offer a good value for money(my view)

A certain Gentleman, a newcomer, wanted to know the significance of "1/6" in the title.

This is a Scale Model. ie it tries to look (and, hopefully fly too!) just like the full size version. So, the design has been ''scaled down''

The original Piper Cub has a 36 feet wingspan. At 1/6 scale, this should have 6 feet, which indeed it does.Similarly with all the other dimensions, as far as practically possible

There is a concept of Scale Speed also, but we will go into that later
