topalle

Yes sir read the posts
.. aileron thickness is 3mm
Any sugesstions for dihedral angle to use...?

You have not read the BEX build log properly

1. Do NOT use such thin Ailerons. They will flutter. Your Ailerons, Tail feathers incl. rudder, stabs, elevator should be 4 mm reinforced with bamboo skewers
2. The spar should be joined at the dihedral angle before assembling the wing.

I know you are young, and don't want to discourage you, but a bit of care at this stage will save a lot of grief and frustration later. I know, because at your age I would do the same, and suffered :D

topalle

Oh.. then I guess I have gone through some other thread....but the autor was BEX...
I glued the top edge to the bottom edge and tried a glide test of just a wing half... glides well...
Does the par need to be joined with a wooden dihedral brace or the same method that was used to make the spar may be applied?

I will measure the coro again and tell whether its 3mm or 4mm :-)

sanjayrai55

Can use corro joiners, both sides

topalle

Actually all the coro used for wing is 4mm and all the coro used for the fuse is 3mm

topalle

Ya ulta but what can i do now... i have reinforced the fuse properly enough

topalle

Attached the two wings and got a suitable dihedral... used a mix of cyanoacrylate and synthetic rubber adhesives...wing (feels) is as hard as rock... here is a picture

Is this a good enough transmitter...does it work well? Is it reliable enough as i plan to put it to use in many of my next models...

Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional!

topalle

By the way... how's my plane sir?
Its still under construction but all the major things ...(fuse wings and tail )are  completed... only waiting for elecronics...  glide test also done but no video taken...

Dear topalle

I don't see your ratios to be correct!!! just have a check with the image i have put.

Its not that the planes other than the recommended ratios do not fly but better to go with the proven design first.

topalle

Yes sir it looks like that from back angle i will post another picture that will clear the perspective

topalle

Sir you noticed it correctly... the fuse was small(ish)...
Rebuilt the fuse from a bigger sheet of coro
below is the picture of the wings on  the new fuse ...
