Can I get some opinion on this:
AXN Floater-Jet / Ready To Fly EPO
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbycity/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=8359 (http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbycity/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=8359)
Looks like a cheap and nice competition to the EasyStar; with servos, motor and ESC included.
With shipping it would come to around $90 and it is 4 channel.
I just need to buy battery. I already have Tx and Rx.
I guess I would need a charger too.
"Battery required: 2-3S 1300mAh" but comments suggest buying 2200mAh
Would I need another ESC if I buy 2200 mAh?
Comments, suggestions?
No, increasing battery capacity has no effect on ESC requirements.
Hey Sunil,
That plane is not in stock i have been keeping a watch on it since quite sometime :P
But Easy Fly RTF Glider EPO is in stock..Unfortunately the shipping cost is higher than the gliders price ;D
So i guess easy star from mr.sai is a nice deal..
@RotorZone: Thanks. I am a novice at this.
@atul_pg: I have no problem waiting for it. EasyStar is 3 Channel and AXN is 4 channel and hence my preference for AXN. I really don't have enough cash to upgrade after a while. Or else I will have to try some of the hacks I saw online to convert it to a 4 channel.
@Mr. Sai: Still, can I get a quote for EasyStar excluding Rx and Tx?
Hey Sunil,
I guess it would be worth waiting for the axn float since i read some good reviews abt this glider..
But am sure hobbycity will increase their shipping rates making it almost to the price of this glider.. ;D
Rest is all your decision.. all the best..

That looks pretty. But as you said, the P&H is more than its cost.

I was wondering what the heck is a "chewing gum camera" :headscratch:
The good lord in the shape of Google answered... that it is a reference to the size of the camera (like the size of a pack of chewing gum) !

The 30fps ultra mini camera is a good alternative:

HK Chewing Gum
FPS 30 15
Size 57x21x19mm 73mm x 20mm x 11mm
Weight 18g NA
Price $19 + Shipping $49+
All in all HK is a winner

Don't see an exact match for the HK one, but it is very similar to one.
