Thank you sir. :hatsoff:
A small query, once I ordered push rod snap connectors from HK, I got the GWS product, the problem is my pushrod(cycle spoke that i use 2-3mm i think) does not go in the hole in it :banghead:. Its undersize. So, have to make Z bends etc which is quite hectic.
I've got 2 packs of it and won't be placing any order in the coming days. Any way to fix that?

@rchobbyindia- please post it in the right thread. you could not just post your sales anywhere. There is a proper sales section over here and you can start a new thread in it.

Utkarsh you could run a 2 mm drill through them. I do it sometimes when the hole has not been properly drilled. But those GWS ones are meant for smaller diameter wires

utkarshg13

Exactly.. I was also planning same thing. GWS comes in two pack A and B as i read in the manual. The B one is for above 2mm.
Thank you sir.

Set the throws to where they should be for 3D flying. Used different (adjustable) horns for Rudder and Elevator

Now the model is 3D capable, unfortunately I am not  :-[ :giggle: :giggle:

Waiting for props. I finally went a 2826-1120 KV from RCB, on which I will use a 11*5.5 prop. Should give about 1.3 Kg thrust, model weight is 850 g with 2200 mAh LiPo

Will put some decoration later

Glad you didnt choose the HK donkey.
It really didnt produce 1000+ grams of thrust. its not even able to lift a model of 650gms Auw.
i had one from hobby sea, mine is rated 1700KV. and regret that i bought. still using my emax 2812.
the magnet/motor can/shaft of donkey all are poor type. some magnets even came rusted.!!!. they should have made some epoxy work on the coil to prevent rewinding.
the mount is some form of hard aluminium and it bent slightly when i heated it with domestic gas burner in a desperate attempt to rewind it.
the 4mm shaft bent on the second nose crash. if we use a 10x4.5 prop as per recommendation the motor heated up lot as if its going to cook. 750rs in the drain.

Yup Ashok. That donkey is vague. On paper it is good for this model, with the high thrust/low rpm, capable of swinging a large 12" prop. But I did not use it because with connectors and wires it weighs about 115 grams! But 730 KV is good, and it does swing a 12*6 prop without heating up, pulls low current too.

Good for a large wing area slow flyer trainer

Maidened her today. Arvind was the Test Pilot

First maidened at 40% throws

sanjayrai55

Now tried it at 100% throws. They were a little high, maybe reduce aileron/rudder to about 80% or so

sanjayrai55

After a successful maiden, put some clothes on her  ;) :giggle:
