did any one visited, iit-m sp4mm3r this jan???

there was a workshop on hawk eye, a rotor-craft...

wonder how it was made??? what is the mechanism inside/...  ???

i am not able to find any more info on web...

any idea abt its mechanism??

not a big rocket science.....!! :giggle:

just uses thrust vectoring for controls and  the flaps at the bottom are  controlled  by a  gyro for  cancelling the torque and gyroscope effect produced by the motor...!!  :hatsoff:

Wow, it's just like the japanese spherical drone! Only it has got thrust vectoring + control surfaces instead of just control surfaces.

Don't know how I missed it!  :banghead: Great job guys!  :hatsoff:
They should have chosen a better location for the video though!

A coanda-effect saucer has a complex structure but with this one you only need to counteract the torque and gyro effect. Can heli pros explain what other factors need to be considered?

Imagine what it could do with a variable pitch prop!

nun of those complex things  required.....!!! just use a  gyro on the surfaces at the tail and  and thrust vectoring... working on the thrust vectoring part...

will  start with this soon.....!!!!

People on diydrones say it's not easy. I have a jap document that has development pics of the japanese spherical drone and they seem to have given considerable thought to the smallest of details. (Like it can straighten itself up after rolling to a halt unlike the IIT hawk-eye) 
I was thinking about using a kk board after seeing below video.
