Monsoon project for 2013 is the Bubble Dancer, Mark Drela's 3-meter RES sailplane. It's open-source with plans and build instructions on http://www.charlesriverrc.org/articles/bubbledancer/markdrela-bubbledancer-3m.htm

Unfortunately, both rcbazaar and rcdhamaka are out of stock in the carbon fiber department. Anyone know another source for 1mm and 2mm thick carbon fiber strips.

Basic outline and specifications of the Bubble Dancer. It's one of the most copied designs. Professor Mark Drela also designed the wings for the al Qaeda and Taliban-hunting Predator UAV.
