Build log: EXTRA 230 Electric profile

with the last extra build for nitro.. coming just 1day early for the sweepstakes.. this one comes in right in time...

can say it as a scratch build since the dimensions and other were taken from a 3 view diagram and traced to get it laser cut...

any one interested in building a same... i would be more than happy to share the .CDR ( corel draw X5) for laser cutting.

where do you get them laser cut and how expensive it is to get it cut?

there is a local laser cutting guy... charges around

it takes around 2-3 mins for cutting the entire plane this size...

Which s/w u use for this and what ply thickness he can cut.

i have tried around 3mm ply.... but it takes a lot of time... around 25-30 mins for the same cutting... hence expensive.. ( char aane ki murgi bara aane ka masala)

wise enough to use balsa, u can design in a balsa saving config for minimum wastage...
