Hi guys , I want to make the FT old fogey.... Can I build it with epp ?? And with what thickness ? I don't have enough depron so wanted to make it out of epp. Will it work and be easy to fly for a beginner ?
Thanks and regards.

Fuse should be OK, don't keep the wall thickness too high

About the wings and tail: they will need reinforcement. That is a separate specialised subject!

Either you should make from Depron or contact some EPS expert (there is Saurabh Rastogi - rastsaurabh on this forum) in Noida itself, who is quite accomplished in this. He can guide you on many other aspects of modelling too

Depron is not that expensive if you buy from the correct place - Paharganj is best

If I build the fuse with epp and wing with depron will it work ? What thickness of epp should I use for fuse. I think 5mm depron should work for the wing?

Sir what does this mean ?

friend there is no rule which will give you a non destructible plane.

you will have to build and learn. As for thickness, it depends on the rigidity of material. Any theramacol  ( even the one from stationary shop) will give flyable rigidity to airframe if you coat it with paper. ( with 50/50 water and fevicol).

Go ahead and make one.

hi... this post needs a correction. We cannot find any EPP sheets in india. Maybe we want to read EPP as depron.

EPP is almost indistructable.
