Hi guys,

Has anyone used this :

http://spherehobbies.com/india/46-co-pilot-cpd4-2-channel-flight-stabilization-system.html

Have been thinkin of buying but have some doubts in mind :

1. Will it help if i crash within 5 seconds of takeoff (It happened with my supercub!)
2. Will it land the plane if its descending at high speed??

More or less, couldn't get the point of using it. Is it something similar to ACT (Anti crash technology)

Boss,

PLEASE correct the spellingS - I think it should read as  'Co Pilot - Does it really work?' and NOT "CO POLIT........ :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:......." Maybe then people will pay more  attention to this thread.

Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional!

AEROVISHWA

this auto pilot donot help much during take off and  landing.l..... ( as auto takeoff or  autolanding.)...

what it does is only help in keeping the wings  level and get all  the servos to flying level  position once u  leave all the controls.....( the  sticks on  the Tx)... if u get into  trouble while flying allu have to  do is  leave  the sticks and it will level out its self....

in case for takeoff.... u add power and  pitch up.. the plane  will keep level its self....same  applies  for  landing.....

strongly recommended not to  use this  system... as u get more  dependent on  it and do not develop the   flying  skills ( most  prob of the civilian aviation  industry  :banghead:)

if u need to learn flying then  do some homework on  the simulator and catch hold of some  teacher/ instructor... or learn the hard way by crashing ( again not  recommended.......) :salute: :salute:
