I am very much inspired by the Bruce Stenulson's design. So decided to do a similar one for my first scratch build.
http://www.stenulson.net/rcflight/slimbeag.htm

Since I haven't found similar material, decided to try using the coro

Specification
Wing Span = 36"
fuse = ~28"
Fin and the stabilizer design same as in the link
http://www.stenulson.net/rcflight/woodstok.htm

materials used = coro, balsa strip.

CG comes somewhere near 40% of the wing with battery in the compartment. is it ok? I made a glide test with battery and no other electronics. It looks fine for me... but while doing 2 / 3 times I feel it is banking little towards right. I'm not sure how I can adjust...

Expecting experts opinion....

KALYANPRODHAN

But AUW (AUW = All Up Weight) is 976 gm as you have specified dilip in first post.
However, nice build. And you can make wing rib with high density thermocol for better support. But hot glue gun is not ideal, but Bondtite 5 minute epoxy perhaps better. Of course, sanding before applying any glue improve bonding. Use 80 grit sand-paper.

thanks
We have to unite and to prove ourself to make indigenous products as well as marketing / Canvasing them. I'm sure we must achieve success if we try unitedly.

abhay

No kalyan sir, sorry to interrupt, but i think he meant AUW to be 697 grammes including electronic-in first post.
297 gms was its weight without electronics i guess..

Summation for electronics listed comes to be 316 gms+reciever+extra wires, pushrod will make 418 gms.

You seem to have added both..  :headscratch:
I can take off and fly well. Its landing which sucks :banghead::banghead:
