After few unstable flights thought of increasing length of fuselage, length between trailing edge and horizontal stabilizer, hope this should work for me,

this is the one initially done

Photo 1

Then increased the length of fuselage, gave colors like a Cessna trainer
ready for a test flight on Sunday if everything works,

for any design corrections
suggestions are welcome

Nice build,

can you share the plan and showsome pictures of how you insetalled the landing gear in the Fuse?

Helis and Quads ROCK !!

amit_delhi

prashant how did you color this plane? is that a paint or plastic film?

gr8! build...looks more like a J3 Piper Cub than cessna...I may be wrong also...

mustang

there is no need to colour....bcoz coro comes in yellow colour also

mustang

wing can be made more good , wing tips can be added.......can take help from spad world if u wanna work on coro

prashant_rc

@madhavan, s CG is good as it is slightly nose heavy, well I put my fingers at the wing at 33%

@vineet s just used ordinary color paper, but will change once maiden flight is done

@Mustang, s coro comes in yellow, blue, and white colors, i used white sheet, so i had to color with yellow

thanks to all :)

@helliflyer

landing i used cycle spoke (but would consider using steel spring wire) just bent like L shape and attached to wooden piece, tied with binding wire initially and applied 10 epoxy,

prashant_rc

Amit, s it looks like both cessna and J3 piper,

as in J3 piper horizontal stabilizer is a bit oval and tapering at ends, which mine does not have,

hope it goes at very slow speed in sky

Phoenix.........

Thanks rupeshji,

thinking of a low winger too, and pusher glider, as props easily brake on a hard landings, already 4 broke,
any plans to suggest

mustang

 foldable props is an option......

Hellyflyer

thanks for the pics

use a prop saver to save props with normal hair rubber bands
Helis and Quads ROCK !!

prashant_rc

@heliflyer

s with prop save u can save prop

but i have been using E props with prop adaptors which gives more thrust than prop saver type props with rubber, s will surely try this too

thanks

prashant_rc

@ foldable props are option, but they too can break, s chances are 1:50

Thanks

practically even prop saver dont do much in prop saving , rather you can try this plan

S vineet, seen prop saver too brake props,

seen my friend broke two GWS prop with prop saver on the same day

vineet

so always go for pusher plan when you start flying for the first time
