hi,
built a coro flying wing for a college project.
almost 8ft wingspan, 2 mm coro used.
All up wt is 1.5kgs. powered by a 1500 kv motor. 10x6 prop
and 3s lipo 2200mah.
takeoffs at half throttle. glides beautifully with motor off.
plan to convert to solar power in process.
pics below.
Cool!!... {:)} {:)}

Hi,
sorry for late updation. guys we are in process of converting this wing into solar power.
lots of r&d in process. currently we tried to build a prototype with solar cells embedded but all up wt is around 3 kgs.
the motor we used is a 1500kv bl motor with 10x6 prop and 30amp esc and 11.1v 2200mah lipo. flies beautifully at 1.5 kgs without solar cells. but the solar cells add 1.2 kgs and thats where the prob starts.
hence after some r&d and failures we proceeded with old plan and progressiing step by step.
below pics explain.
Super Like!
I was one of the lucky one to see this in action. :)
fantastic, Sandeep. Must have been an exciting project !
more pics.
Any update on this project?
Also would like to know the plan you followed for building this wing.
