I built this coroplast biplane based on the BYOB plans from rcgroups. This is the 26 inch version using coroplast and ended up with an AUW of 305 grams approx 11 oz. Getting the CG right was difficult but once that was sorted the plane flies fantastic. Turns very quick and is a pleasure to watch in flight.

I have depron but figured coroplast would give me the weight needed for high wind and could take a hard landing better than depron. I've had a few of those already

The wing support uses 6mm depron.

Using a blue wonder 1300Kv motor swinging a TGS 7x3 prop on an 800mah 3s Lipo with a 12A Turnigy Plush ESC. Receiver is a flysky 3ch.

A flight video taken this evening can be seen here.

Cheers

Thanks Roman, I have been following your build of the slowly as well. Any idea how to embed youtube videos inline in the post?

nice build Bopanna!  :hatsoff:
Good slow flying!
this is the same 6th main ground right?

To increase thrust you need more  money! But to reduce weight you  need nothing!

Thanks Praveen. No, it's a friends place.
