Title: Cyclone- Delta with Differential thrust scratch built
Post by: Ashta on November 25, 2009, 03:08:41 PM
hello,

I was inspired by "Doing A Goolie - Flight Line Plans" from Micron Radio controls.
pl watch their video.

Based on this RCGROUPS had a project called CYCLONE, a KFm4 wing 30 inch.
I made this with 3mm Depron, and the gear.

Rady for maiden.
pl find some photos and the initial static test video.

Will post some video if it flies !!!

As always, another good one !

How are you planning to vary the thrust ?  Just put the two motors on two different channels, and do some kind of mixing in the radio ?

dear anwar,
thank you.
yes i have two escs connected to two channels, Ch3 and ch4.
Throttle is mixed to rudder to get differential thrust.
if u see the video, u will notice the two motors varying their speed as you give rudder inputs.
will need lot of finetuning before i maiden it.
