Had a lot of 10mm sheets of thermocol lying at home -  left over after my tenent shipped some furniture from out station. So this is what iv used them for :

Thank you Sir for the plans and info you provided :)

VC

Rajath, I don't want to dishearten you, but I hope that is high density thermocole. You may have to use a lot of reinforcement if it is normal thermocole.

The build is very neat.

Thanks Ujjwaanna,

Absolutely marvelous build for a 10 mm EPP Rajath. Nice cuts and and the plan has been joined absolutely symetrical.

I was following this thread for quite some time and was so speechless and "typeless" ;D that I did not even post a single comment....
In one sentence "The best fleet of Mig's I have ever seen"
Amazing build, a truly professional job on them..
Keep it up!

I dont intend to fly it VC. Tenant was going to chuck the thermocol away - couldnt let it go to waste :) And i wanted a mig in my room. Well who doesnt :D

VC

In that case - Well done Lad! You did the correct thing, I would have done the same  ;D. Now paint her and get her ready, she's a good looking bird.

Why are we hijacking Sandy's thread? He is too much of an Officer and a Gentleman to protest, but this build should have been posted as a separate entity by itself in an independent thread. Respect for Sandy and respect for this MiG 29, and its builder,  would have been maintained in that case.

Thanks Controlflyer I was also tempted to commence build on my Predator seeing the quality of build done by you. Any way good luck with your predator and Transall. Keep us posted.

This Sunday it is heavily raining in Jhansi. So no flying however I am posting video of last Sunday flying with my son.

Thanks to Mr Astha. This video is shot with a Hat Cam similar to the modification done by Mr Astha.

Thank you for watching.

Thanks VC for praises far more than what I deserve.

But none of the above was any way thread hijacking.
Everyone is most welcome to contribute in any way he desires to.

I have done many hours of flying now. It is flying very well both mig 29 as well as su 37. However I did not understand your question please. Could you please rephrase the question.

rcpilotacro

main wheel i thought was too close to the fuselage (For high Alpha landing) doesn't matter in a foamie i guess, any PDF plans ? was going to cut some foams

After more than an year of flying, the last mig - 29 was nearly totaled after the high G aerobatics and kulbits by Gusty. She was still air worthy though but developed so many cracks all over decided to retire her and make a new one for gusty to try his extreme flying   :giggle: ( hope gusty you are reading this )

Planning to name her the flaming arrow.

This one is with rudder too

This was an F-22 made for shillong air show with 8mm depron and a more powerfull 2217/6 2200 KV motor

Great build and great video sir  . I am currently trying to practice flying such planes on the sim. I am very often getting lost with orientation of the plane and end up giving wrong control commands :banghead: :banghead:. How do you know of the orientation :headscratch: :headscratch:? Any tip will be very helpful :help: :help:.
Love what you do..Do what you love

Sim time is important, easier way is imagine you are sitting in it, whomever i told this picked it up faster (Mostly to, already real life pilots so cant take it as gospel truth though)

PS
Maidened her , will be putting pup videos and reviews
