Hello all, after going through various posts in rci i decided to post this, if it is duplicated then kindly share the link.
There are few things i wanted to know, any help would be appreciated.
1. How can i import a TX-RX , or I found one post regarding procedure for type apporval but that seems to be incomplete and leads nowhere.
2. Can i imports Li-Po, controller, and other parts of quad from aliexpress or banggood? If yes then are there kindly share some tips pls.
3. As being a fellow member and aspiring hobbyist in the multi copters can i get some useful tips in this field.

Thank you.   :hatsoff:

welcome to forum
well regarding imports you might know and have read that ordering anything gets and have to be charged customs .... well Radio tx rx 2.4ghz surely or 95% gets confiscated and the licenses they would ask are impossible to get as a student or hobbyist i must say for ban reasons or security reasons you may say wpc type approval for all radio 2.4ghz in hobby are been removed as per the website
www.wpc.gov.in only taranis x9d plus is shown in the list now which wasnt there before..
Now importing any radio is a bad idea you would loose you money and time both also in some cases might attract import fine...
coming to small items like esc and motors is allowed and sometimes charged customs .....
customs is like 50-50 chances of been applied and not applied : Eg: you may be charged 300-400 rs for a cover and scratch guard cover or you phone of which the total cost is 1000/- whereas you might be not charged anything for a parcel worth 3000/- depends on the parcel size weight description and price mentioned...
well for tips i would say juss order small parts and limited quantity in different orders that shouldnt be a problem
lipos are not shipped by most of the website but yes aliexpress does..
i would also suggest visit local hobby shops in india so that its easier to continue the hobby and not waste money .. there are many fraudlant sellers in aliexpress.... and refund procedure depends from deal to deal...
for more on drones specifically drone racing : www.fpvcrazy.net (juss thought would be of help)

wow, thanks cyberhack for a clearing most of it. As i was going to wpc on monday for inquiry related to type approval. And am from chennai here flying is ban, either i have to give up ma hobby or have to continue somewhere else. And lshs are way too costly, a esc worth 250 rs are being sold for 500+ that is insane. I will still look into the other sites, yea rc mumbai is quite reasonable. Anyway thanks for the help :)
