Hello,
here is the pictures of the new SKYFIGHTER based scratch built plane, waiting to maiden. Used Thermocole and depron and coloured packing tape.

Hope it will fly well. Will post some videos later if it flies well.

Best regards
ashta

her is the video of the maiden+1 flight. Thanks for watching.
Sorry i could not show you a scremimg skyfighter since i was flying only at about 40-50% of throttle. Just wanted to get some familiarity before screaming.
its a great stable responsive flier... thanks for all the support from this forum.

Looks like a profile Yak-54 (except for that cockpit bit)  {:)}

Would love to see some Youtube action with these !  Guess most people are lazy like me when it comes to putting videos up.

dear Anwar,
i just assembled this model once again to take a video. i took the video myself while flying using my crude cap camera. so the frames are not good. (I forgot to turn my head  and not the eyes while taking the video with camera on the head !!!) aslo i am not a great flier. pl excuse me. It is a very gentle flier can slow down nicely with out tip stall.  AUW is about 850 grams. thanks for watching.

hello,
i have been flying this plane in atleast last 10 sessions. It has become my most favourite plane.
The speed envelop is amazing, similarly the stability wonderfull. Inverted is sooo easy.
I would recommend to build this and find it out yourself.
here is the link.

Though i made changes in the material (Used thremocol instead of Depron, whereever possible) to make it lighter.

As Anwar suggested, i have made avideo to see the wrking of the plane closer. I had to connect the battery one handed since the other hand had the camera.

You are making me want to retire early  ;)

BTW, I noticed that you are flying inverted, yet only just closed the battery hatch without significantly securing the battery (unless you had Velcro, which I may have missed)  :headscratch:

Yes Anwar, you do notice things however minute....
The magnets are so powerfull and i use totally 4 of them. I have tried shaking the palne inverted and ensured that Bat does'nt come off. So did not use Velcro...

Hello,
After about 40 flights on my Skyfighter, it crashed badly while trying to do a reverse loop and sun directly on me. It hit the ground with full speed. see the photo.

It was so nice a plane that i wanted to make on one more and started  on it asap. (This happened 10 days back)
