I always had desire to built my own RC plane since years.  Due to inadequate knowledge of building and electronic components used in his could not do so,

Finally I made one, just correct me and suggests for happy take off

Electronics

2822 1400 KV Motor          (RCBazaar)
30 amps ESC                    (RCBazaar)
Flysky Tx and Rx               (RCBazaar)
10 x 5 prop                      (RCBazaar)
7.2 v 850 mAh lipo              (Jackshobbies.in my local RC store)

Hey guys please suggests and correct anything to have this take off, yet not made maiden flight

What is the final weight. Any specific reason to choose 2S setup

liked your aerofoil.
Could have made the fuselage narrower, by giving an inside angle to the vertical members of the fuselage. Now it appears to be a rectangle from front view, so instead it could have been somewhat V shaped. This will avoid drag, which that rectangular fuselage will cause. I think surfaces should be more angular than flat - which face the wind headon (front view).

Dear friend thanks for your valuable suggestions, I was just waiting for these simple tips, so that i can make a good one,
ur welcomed to suggest anything more  :hatsoff:

I chose 2s lipo all becoz of weight,
i ordered initially 3s 2200 mAH lipo from RCBazaar, and site has not specified weight,
to my surprise it was too heavy, so went to my local store Jackshobbies and buyed 2s 850 49 grams

vikalp11

ur welcome.
i don't think you need that big prop. 8x5 will be fine.

prashant_rc

Dear vikalp

thanks, also let me know if 8 x 5 prop with 2S lipo can thrust 700 grams plane

check the attached table for a 1400kv motor with different prop and voltages.

can somebody provide tips for CG

I know to keep fingers under the wing and lift the plane to balance

if slight nose heavy, is it my plane ready to go in sky ?????

prashant_rc

Dear vikalp,

please provide tips for CG

i know to balance the plane by keeping the fingers under wings and making slight nose heavy,

slight nose heavy is enough to take my plane into skies

We have to unite and to prove ourself to make indigenous products as well as marketing / Canvasing them. I'm sure we must achieve success if we try unitedly.

CG & aerodynamic center are very important. The aerodynamic force acts through Aerodynamic Center. That force creates a moment about the Center of Gravity of the whole plane. Due to this moment you get the various maneuvers. So the moment arm i.e the distance between the A.C & C.G, along with the Aerodynamic Force (called Lift) decides the magnitude of moment. In this way it affects the control's sensitivity. Offcourse the sensitivity of control can also be controlled by adjusting the position of servos & length of pushrods. But that will control the deflection of the control surface & not the position of the A.C & C.G. i.e keeping the position of the A.C & C.G same, the pushrod/servo position can be adjusted to deflect the contol surfaces for a variety of angles. Its better to decide upon the A.C & C.G while designing your aircraft & then decide upon the min & max deflections for your control surfaces to achieve your desired Aerodynamic Force (Lift) to fly your craft & then position the servos & the pushrods according to that decided angle.
You can find on the net how the A.C is calculated.
I hope the above explanation helps you in some way. Let me know if you need any other information. I will try my best to help you.

Sad day for me September 19, 2011, flew at Osmania university ground
with total flying weight of 900 grm, but my motor had thrust of over 1000 grams  (830 KV+10X5 prop+11.1 2200 mAh battery),

I hand launched it and it fell to ground and broke, was very dissappointed  :(

Very sad day for me, September 19, 2011, I tried to fly my plane with total weight of 900 gram, but my motor and prop combination was for more than 1000 grams thrust,
motor 830 KV
prop  10X5
lipo  11.1, 2200 mAh

it went for short distance and fell to ground, and broke
:(

You should take help of some experienced flyer to test fly your model. Attempts like this will only discourage you from learning. If you need any help call me on 9246545790 for any help.

Dear Anwar bhai,
Thanks for u r helping hand, i am very much greatful to u.

hopefully tomorrow, sept 20, i ll call u for help regarding my plane,

I had put so much hardwork beyond this even after my tiring workdays and weekends,
and ultimately left with discouragement,

hope something will come out from u r assistance

With warm regards
