Hi Guys

I was looking to buy a slow-flyer kit and came across FlyLite sold at RCD and bought it nearly two months back. After a months gaps i build the model and flew it near a small ground and crashed into Neem tree :'() i thought it was gone but model survived with little foam rash  ;D. Me and my friend began looking for large flying site and found a large open space near a lake bed (leveled farm land) 9km from my home, on our 1st day of flying just after our third flight we meet a person named chandu and he is an ex-modeler in Singapore and offered us to use his space  :hatsoff: :hatsoff: saying he knew how hard it was to find a flying field  .

Review :

Pros: 1. excellent beginner model in terms of flying, building and repair.
       2. Light and durable plane.
       3. Very well written manual except for battery size part.

Cons: 1. Rx-R package has not come with manual.
        2. Rx-R ESC has high LVC and no further instructions on Programming.
        3. Rx-R servos are barely up for the job and control rod binds at some points of servo travel.
        4. To complete the model one needs wing C.G cut out markings.
        5. Not sufficient cooling for the motor and recommended 2S/300mah battery will not do.

Mods: 1. replaced the stock Rx-R servos with 4.3 grams E-Max servos from RCB
        2. Added some fiber glass tape reinforcement to elevator control surface.

Today might be a great and wonderful day. It depends on you.

1. i found it hard to mount the receiver safely without touching (gluing stuff etc) so i used bubble wrap and wrapped around the receiver for a snug fit in the fuse ;D  >:D .
2. used rupee coins as weight for C.G/balancing.
3. DIY charger cables and soldered mini dean connectors on all packs as the OEM ESC had mini dean.
4. keep the antenna orientation 90deg b/w the two receiver cables.
5. Also the prop that came with the kit has some sort of prop-tips like wing-tips   :headscratch:
Today might be a great and wonderful day. It depends on you.
