Dear all,
I have bought a F-18 blue angel in the kit format (without any electronics)
Do i need the servo extension cable and what should be the length
Wire sizes are : 150mm or 300mm
* Wing Span: 670mm
* Length: 960mm
* Flying Weight: 620g
* Servo: 9g*5
* Battery: 11.1V Li-poly battery
* ESC: 30A
* EDF : 64mm
If the servos are attached to the side of the fuse box on belly, the std 9g Servo cable should not need any extension lead.
Any was a 15cm lead should be enough.
Other wise just tie a thread on the plug of the servo and measure what length you would need to reach the Rx.
Hi Hangingtough,
from where you brought the kit without electronics?
Regards
Dileep
I am in korea right now and it is easily available here

Actually many reason for not able to check myself
1. the kit is packed ( I am in korea and flying back to india)
2. There are no servos installed
3. I dont know the placement of the receiver
4. I am not sure of the wire routing.
so it is impossible for me to check Myself. so looking out a help from a jet experienced flyer
keep this in mind as a rule of thumb. 50mm = 2 1/8 inches so a 150mm connector will be 6 3/8 inch long plus connectors..
