My first RC Model was an IHC Apple Box, circa 1986 or so. It had a power pod, on which I had mounted an old Fox .09 belonging to my cousin

Since then, I've always been fascinated , by, but never really got down to either flying or building one of these graceful models

Plans here: http://www.outerzone.co.uk/plan_details.asp?ID=6789

Brief Specs: 74"Span, ~1.5 kg, power by 10 nitro equivalent

I would rate this as a difficult build in corro

It is fairly complex, lots of angles everywhere  :D :D

Landing Gear is extraordinary, hand constructed

Lots of adaptation needed from plans

Wing has a double sweep (front and back,) and steep dihedral

K K Iyer

I think I've found the secret behind the success of Rai Saheb's models:

1. They have a pilot
2. The pilot has instruments

Congrats on your choice of another really classic plane.

Thanks Iyer sir

You forgot (deliberately? ;) ) to mention I make the pilots look like you  :D :D :giggle:
