Hi there,

I dont think I can vote in this issue neither can most of the others because we need to have had enough experience with both the planes before judging either of them.

People with Mr. Moss would always vote for it and people with Slow Stick would go for that which would make this poll useless.

The only members who can really judge the parameters like durability, stability, wind resistance etc.. are the ones who have flown both.  I have flown both the planes but I have not had enough stick time to really judge the pros and cons!

Didnt mean to discourage you but we can slightly change the poll parameters like power setup, price, spares availability, quality etc.  Some parameters which can be voted on without having flown the planes.

My 2 cents  :) :)

hi,
i have flown the slowstick  and the mr moss(which won me the IIT sp4mm3r competition in bombay).
i would say the mr moss is better than slowstick:-
My reason:-
1) the mr moss can take more beating than the slowstick because i used to practice by hitting the pole for spot landing.once i even hit a pile of rocks by mistake on a gusty day and nothing happened to the airframe and the electonics. the only thing that broke was the prop.
2) the mr moss is more agile than the slowstick because i used to take sharp turns and make quick corrections so as to make the headwind my adavantage ;).
3) the mr moss is modifiable and you can add ailerons to it later without any difficulty. (BTW the ready made  slowstick ailerons are ineffective as they are small and because the slowstick's huge dihedral tend negate the roll movement of the plane.)
4) The mr moss can be made an aerobatic plane by taking off  the detachable polyhydrals.

But have to admit that the slowstick is a better flotter because of its huge wing area , chord and the wing more or less has a parachute effect //:).
