HI I AM WORKING ON THIS MAJOR PROJECT OF MINE
ITS A RF CONTROLLED BIOFOAM PLANE THAT I HAVE TO MAKE .
WELL SO THE
-TRANSMITTER RECIVER ARE THEREFORE HAND MADE 8 CHANNEL 433 MHZ
WEIGHING AROUND 30 GMS AND DIMENTION OF 10*10 CMS
- BATTERIES  I AM PLANNING TO USE ARE NOKIA BL 5C WHICH HAVE ARATING OF 3.7 VOLT 1080 MAH 17GM EACH
-WELL AS THE ONLY REQUIREMNET FOR THIS PLANE IS TO FLY PLZ GIVE SUGGESTIONS ABT THE OTHER MATERIALS I NEED TO PURCHSE AS IAM LEAVING FOR DELHI VERY SOON .
- PLZ UR VALUABLE SUGGESTIONS NEEDED

Rao

Could not understand what you are trying to say  :headscratch:.It would be helpful to suggest what you need if you provide a more details about your project.

Welcome to Rcindia !!!

To build a SPAD from scratch you need to have

Build Material - (biofoam, glues, etc...)
Motor and ESC
Servos
Receiver and Transmitter
battery

the is basic need to build a RC plane.... but you are not clear about your project....Please post more details so that experienced people over here will help you a lot...

SIR I HAVE TO MAKE A BIOFOAM OR DEPRON PLANE WHICH HAS A HAND MADE RECIEVER WORKING AT 433MHZ FREQUENCY .
- THUS ITS APPROXINMATE WEIGHT WOULD BE AROUND-
- RECIEVER 20-30 GMS
- BATTERIES- 50 GMS
- BODY- 30 GMS
SO SIR PLZ SUGGEST THE MOTOR AND THE PROPELLORS REQUIRED FOR THIS PURPOSE
- PLZ ASLO TELL ME THT ARE MO

PLZ ALSO SUGGEST ARE MOBILE FONE BATTERIES 3.7 VOLT AND 1080MAH RATED A GOOD SUBSTITUTE FOR LIPO BATTERIES

Mobile batteries may not support the high discharge rate required for rc motors and hence may heatup/ may explode. also 3.7 v may / may not be enough.

1. Please learn to type in small and not CAPS in this forum.
2. Cellphone batteries are not made for high current dissipation application like R/C where you would be powering the motors. Even to power Receiver, the servos may consume considerable amount of current. Go for LiPo (Lithium Polymer) batteries if you can afford, else use use NiMh cells, which would then make plane heavy.
3. Please dont use DIY Tx/Rx (those 455MHz RF Transceiver) unless making in-house (to what extent!!) is not your criteria. You need a reliable Radio with sufficient range and error correction. There are cheaper Radio controller available for as less as Rs 4000, which have much compact and light receiver.
4. You have long way to go :d . Welcome, feel free to ask questions here, but before writing a post, please search the forum or even better, spend some time reading threads in the 'Beginner Zone' http://www.rcindia.org/beginners-zone/

Please do not write in call capital letters, that makes the material more difficult to read (serving the opposite purpose of what you probably intended). It is considered SHOUTING in all online forums, and strongly frowned upon.  And please do not consider this as chastising, it is just a polite reminder about online etiquette :)

Since you have strict weight requirements, you may want to try the micro planes like our member "sundaramvelar" frequently builds, using readily available material like foam food plates (probably slightly bigger than those).

There are lipo batteries that are very small, and will suit your purpose.

The big question is, have you tested your radio equipment for range etc ?  What range are you getting ?

TRANSMITTER RECIVER ARE THEREFORE HAND MADE 8 CHANNEL 433 MHZ
Hi,
Your additional input will help us all to give you suggestions of your project...
My query:
What do u mean by 433 Mhz hand made tx and rx?
how u r controlling the channels of tx. and how r u putting the receiver output?
can u post some reference drawings if any?
and what power system u r planning to use?
what is the dimension of the biofoam plane?
Fly high if you have good set of batteries.....!

I'm guessing you have to build the tx/rx yourself as this is a project.. You will have to use servo motors to move the control surfaces on the plane and control these servos with a microcontroller using PWM (Pulse width modulation). You will also have to use another microcontroller to transmit the RF signal.. I don't know much about the RF transmission part of it but you can try the following links if you want to know about servo motors..

HOW SERVOS WORK: http://www.brookshiresoftware.com/rd_how_servos_work.htm
SERVO PWM CONTROL: http://mil.ufl.edu/~achamber/servoPWMfaq.html
SERVO MOTOR CONTROL: http://www.epanorama.net/documents/motor/rcservos.html

If you've built it already (or once u do build it), can you please post some pictures or a vid of ur radio.. I would love to see it :)

The cellular phone batteries are not suitable for this application.. They are not designed for such a high current draw.. In a phone the battery is designed to be fully discharged over hours to days.. In planes the battery will be discharged in a few minutes.. If your lucky ur batt will die quietly.. or it may just explode.. ( then you can tell ppl u've built a cruise missile  ;D he he)

Instead use a li-po battery which is specially designed for RC application.. U can buy it on ebay..

About the motors i have no idea..

Best of luck with ur project..

Dear Fellow member.
Have u done with this project? if so can u please share ur exp.

I Think you are trying to demonstrate only your Tx+Rx combo. As a very new, you have to read all things in detail to start everything making your hand made.
Just forget it and avoid for now.

So, preferably you please replace/Add to Ready to Fly model (RTF); just use your Transmitter (We call it Tx in small similarly Rx=receiver) and receiver.

They are available as low as less 5K. Complete in all respect except Tx+Rx.

Search RCBazaar. Purchase a stable model.
One more thing. Try Simulator for your hand control on Simulator. Download FMS and purchase a analog joypad. Try on Simulator just to avoid CRASH of your purchased plane.
We have to unite and to prove ourself to make indigenous products as well as marketing / Canvasing them. I'm sure we must achieve success if we try unitedly.
