keep the RTF weight of ur plane around 500 gms..
8 inch prop can also be used for better thrust .....

why EM 9?? you are paying more for the product and shipping weight is more, Instead go for HXT 900... Consider buying the radio controller locally as most of them are being held up in customs.

dont forget the connector the these to your list

3.5mm gold connector,
XT-60,
a meter of 4 mm heat shrink

As per me 1800mah is very big for a 500g plane and will add unnecessary weight of atleast 50 gms...

if possible try to use 800~1000mah

Hi... please let us know the plane that you intend to put these electronics  on ...only then can a fair judgement be made ..... also, I suggest to go in for a Mode 2 Tx as this is what is  popular among people in India .... it helps as others can help you learn to fly ....

for mounting the motor..
u can use a generally available ply of 3-4 mm. thickness..
and a wood stick....
join both these with fevicol or any other good adhesive ..
Keep both ply and stick perpendicular to each other..
or u can place some angle between both if required....
u can use fevitite rapid , bondtite rapid  for aluminium ,wood....

I tried a lot a designs for that, and realized that a motor mount is the best way to go.
Because if the motor and prop vibrate or are skewed then it will crash the aircraft, which will either break your prop, mount or fuselage, it can even bend the shaft. ( i have had all those happen to me).
Would you really want that?
