My Hanger:
1. Hobbico AEROCRUISER EP ARF:Hitec 4ch SC FM Rx,2-HS-55 Servos,Stock Motor 380 size,Stock ESC and 8.4V 1100 mAh Ni-mH battery.
I too have a 3Ch Hobbico AeroCruiser. It has the stock 380 size brushed motor, 6x3 prop, stock ESC, 2-HS-55 servos, and 8.4V 1350 mAh Ni-mH battery. The AUW is 640 gms. However, the plane has not been able to fly... It seems that the stock motor cannot generate sufficient thrust.
Do you think, I should use larger prop (9x3, 8x4, etc) to generate thrust, or use a LiPo to reduce weight (NiMh battery pack is 175 gms), or swap the stock motor with a brushless motor+esc ?
Others are also requested to share their knowledge/expert advice. I will appreciate your inputs.
Thanks in advance :)

Well friends... the AeroCruiser flew !
I used a 7x4 prop and inserted a freshly charged (cycle-re-cycled) battery pack... But, took extensive damage when it crash-landed... I haven't lost hope... with some fevicol, tape, and some sanding... it will fly again :)
