your motor is heating because 1047 is an overload for emax fc 2822....try to use 8045 or 09038 or  9045 at max
Arcarious @ Akky.....
I have never crashed while flying....Its the Landing only that gets me....
Happy Landings....&.....Happy Crashings

arun.sreelakam

but saw many post and they are using 10" props for 2822 and also in the motor its written as 9-10" prop..
nyway will try by changing the prop.. i already have 8 and 9" props with me.. thanks for the inf akky..  :salute: :salute:

Look,
when you fly, heat will be lower then static thrust and so much of heat will not be there.

Or you can say as the plane advances, the amount of air shifted to the final velocity from zero will not be so much as the prop itself advances. (Shifted air volume reduced in cylinder length).
With the same motor(from VKSingh), I have used 10x6 prop too, but heating occures without burning (Static THRUST at full throttle even for 1 minute). But continuing beyond that sure burn that(during testing, I have no IR Thermometer). The test was with Turnigy plush 30A and with Red Brick 30 A too. Results same.
Of course this test turns turnigy plush in a defective one and become with servo jitter. Red brick(from vineet, earlier than starting his shop at hobbysea) was rock solid though Red Brick was cheap too. (Rs.530 over 870/-).
I recomend, if you don't need ESC programming, Go for Red Brick.

Just check what prop makes the plane vertical flight just at par. Use more than that prop-Motor-Battery Combo (known as static thrust and in gm).

Also, test everything in a charged battery and measure before and after voltage for testing.

Thanks

We have to unite and to prove ourself to make indigenous products as well as marketing / Canvasing them. I'm sure we must achieve success if we try unitedly.

i think prop savers wud hav greatly helped.....
i cant conclude much ...... probably CG is not balanced...... need to add weight to tail probably... (if it was not windy)
otherwise fliht characteristics were wonderful.... stable ........
also some simulator lessons wud do lot help......

arun.sreelakam

yes really one thing was it was really windy :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:.. thats what i made wrong..  :)but luckly nothing happend to ma plane.. only prop broken will do again in a less windy day.. also cg is quite okay i think coz glide test went fine...  :headscratch: :headscratch: :headscratch:

arun,
all looks fine from the video.
Go to a bigger place and fly. u will surely succeed. Many people make this mistake of going to a small place to save on travel, but end up much more time and money repairing the plane esp while maidening.
One needs much more skill also to fly in a confined area.
best wishes
You can't be first because you do not know!

arun.sreelakam

sure sir will try a bigger ground next time. :) :)

Arun

Happy Birthday!   :goodjob:

What a wonderful present to give yourself.  {:)} {:)}

I have read through your posts, and you have indeed been very enterprising: doing that model yourself, and then flying yourself. The true Spirit of Aeromodelling!   :hatsoff: :thumbsup:

All the best: a big ground is helpful! You are lucky that Cricket is not so popular in Kerala; unlike other parts in India where any big ground gets swamped on Sundays!  ;D ;D

sanjayrai55

Oh, BTW, on seeing your video again it appears you were not giving up elevator while turning (it seemed that way) although I may well be wrong!

arun.sreelakam

@ sanjayrai: first of all thanks for your wishes sir :), again thanks for the complement :)... there is no one to help me out here my place.. :banghead:
i am really in love with rc modelling and flying (:|~.. very much excited now because of the wonderful present i got today..
i will fly good one day i know that.. and waiting for that day.. :) :salute: :salute: :salute:

Revolutionary potential is only limited by our imagination

vishal

that was a really good flight  {:)} {:)} {:)}

but a little piece of suggestion , u should not face the sun, as the model will appear black and u might lose the track of it....
this is just because u must not do what we did and crashed  :(

rgds

arun.sreelakam

@vishal: The flying was at 5.30 eve... so no problems with the sun.. but the video went black bcoz of that...   :( :( :(
thanks for your suggestion dude...  {:)} {:)}

Congrats! Now you are inspiring me to maiden mine (similar design) which was built more than 6 months ago.
Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional!

VC sir thanks a lot...  :) :)
but why didn't you maiden your's? yet?   :headscratch: :headscratch: :headscratch:
