I have a sky surfer V3, all parts (wings, tail, fins) are glued with foam safe glue. But now i want to detach them due to some transport problem. Is there a way to detach them safely ? so that i can transport the model safely ? Need your suggessions.

Thanks

There are 2 things , that u can do , one is to take a scalpel(hobby knife ) and cut just a little below the joint , but this can result in a situation , where u cannot stick it back together , if a lot of foam is cut by chance .

Second and the side , is to take a scalpel (hobby knife ) , heat it a little , with a lighter and manually remove all the glue . U cannot heat the glue directly , as the foam would melt .

What king of glue is that? Rubber adhesive or epoxy? If its rubber adhesive, you can cut between the joints using a sharp paper or hobby cutter.

It is a foam safe glue, which is available in RcBazaar store. Below is the link.
