after a long time I'm planning to build a model.

a delta wing....but without elevons ....

this time I want it to be a normal 3 channel plane. like throttle . rudder . elevator.

totally confused about the size of vertical stabilizer,  rudder & horizontal Stabilizer elevator.

basic dimensions of the wing are as attached in the rough design....total wing area that I calculated was around 2280 sq inches

any help would be appreciated ....

Sir I don't believe you can add a horizontal stabiliser if you are going to build a purely flying wing style delta wing without any fuselage.
However, you can have control surfaces at the base(95" long side) and use them as elevators.

.

I Need a separate vertical & horizontal stabilizer along with rudder  & elevator .....that's the challenge here. ....and it has to have aerobatic abilities...

I really don't understand why you require a separate horizontal stabiliser.
In conventional planes, there is a need for the horizontal stabiliser which moves the centre of lift backwards and allows the centre of lift overlap the centre of mass/gravity.
In flying wings that is taken care of by the sweep of the wing which moves the centre of lift backwards and allows it tooverlap the centre of mass/gravity.
I have seen some with vertical stabilisers but not horizontal stabilisers as adding a horizontal stabiliser would mean that you will have to add a tail.

Adding vertical stabilisers of any kind will reduce the roll capabilities of the craft adversely and hinder its aerobatic capabilities.(not very sure)

thanks for your suggestions Karthick.

as mentioned in my 1st post elevons is not an option, due to the massive size...

I have to use conventional Tail system in this build....and m very confused about the size of the same....

I can compromise on the aerobatic abilities ....but the wing needs to make some what sharp turns...

I know adding a vertical stab will hinder the roll capability....but it will also help the model fly in a straight line...

Just building the Wing is one part, flying it is another feat. A person needs some reasonable skills to fly one well. And also good skills in spatial perception.

The thing, is because there is no tail plane on a wing, its a bit tricky to judge the attitude .

Of course , do post the build and flight .
