Hi all was busy with my works :banghead: :banghead:
Started again with the built
Mounting of servos
Mounting of fuel tank
Mounting of engine
Cool!!!!.... Vasanth   One more Cox Engine Built
I am loving it. I am available for any query.
If you have bought the engine from prodigy_techus @ ebay.in. (seems like so..) please do not use the prop which came with it because it is a Pusher Prop 5x3 3 Blade will be inefficient in traction. Please use a 6x3 or a 5x3 prop.
Use at least 10% Nitro (or up to 25% Nitro) for good flight characteristics.
PS : My son loves this model. Last sunday we flew in really heavy wind conditions. It was like powered soaring action. with the model almost static just creeping in head wind conditions at WOT. :) Let me post the video while you are at it here http://www.rcindia.org/gas-glow-nitro-planes/build-and-fly-idol-laser-cut-kit-890mm-from-hobby-king-with-12-glow-engine. Lamination film add weight to it. I hope you added the thinnest available. :)
Hello sir,
Yes i added thinnest one.It s really good and cheap :-)
Incidentally Lamination film adds more structural strength to model as long as air frame can take the tension without warping and power plant can lug the weight.

That clean canvas of the model looks absolutely inviting. ;D I would love to lay my hands on that model to try my compressor & airbrush skills on it
