The 35" fuse pipe section alone weighs 1 kg... should I use it? I will try to get some lighter pipe of the same size

Oh... what an idea... thanks... but do you know how to join two bottles?
Amateur photographer ... DIY enthusiast ... Scratch Builder... Student-Innovator

madaquif

Cut the bottom of both the bottles...make a notch on one of the bottles...

then join both the bottoms of the bottles...

use any industrial grade glue Araldite ..... thn wrap it with a fiber tape....;)  just for strength

u can try hot glue but i dont think its gonna be as strong ..

do post some pics if it works...

cheers

Due to issues in construction of fuse... I have decided to build a rather boxy fuse than a fancy round fuse...
After this flies well I will definitely remove this boxy one and try to get some depron to make a round one...

Ambitious project. Don't bother about the comments/feedback. Just keep at it. All the best!

What is the fuse made out of?
Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional!

topalle

Didn't make the fuse...
Its a pvc gutterpipe...
I will wrap coro around it and remove the pipe afterwards...

Restarted the work... left the wing in a dilapidated condition...
now renovating the wing.. boxy fuselage to be done soon...
I used very thin control surfaces and thy were not even placed properly... removed them and i am going to add new ones... should scale sizing of control surfaces do?

Great bro. Just a suggestion. Try contacting shantanu borate sir from mumbai here. Few days back he build a similar model using round thermocol tube. You can ask him where he got that. I remember he told me once he got it from a gift shop.
