Maiden-ed my HK EPP YAK55 last day. Maiden went well but crashed on flight 4. Loved the way it flew.

sam, is your HK Yak the same as the techone yak54 1100 ??? here's a link
http://www.techonehobby.com/proinfo.php?kid=1&pid=14

if so please share info like CG, Expo N throws

FlyJoe, this one is 43" WS. CG as per manual is from 110mm to 130mm from LE. I set it at 130mm for 3D but still seems like slightly nose heavy for my taste. Once I fix her up, will try moving the CG further back. I flew her on full throws and didnt use any expo. Might add some on ailerons.

And by the way, the HK version of the Techone Yak 54 is this  http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=15302 I have one of those ( http://www.rcindia.org/electric-planes/hk-epp-yak-54/msg114028/#msg114028 ) Tried with a zippy 1300 and found to be too nose heavy. Will have to order 1000mah and try again.

Sam, this is the Yak 54 1100, like your 55, has a WS of 43.3 (1100mm) & FL of 47.2 (1200mm) please check the link on post no: 7.
BTW you said you are planning your annual holiday? should hook up when you are in town.

Joe, you were right about the size... sorry I missed it. But this is not the same. The techone is a YAK54 while the HK version is a YAK55. HK do have a copy of the smaller techone yak54 (which I mentioned earlier). And by the way, I will be reaching my beloved country this Thursday morning. Will pm you my mobile number once I get one. Would love to meet you.
