Good Luck....  One of the cheap and cheerful build yourself under USD50 plane is proving very popular here and is called;  FISH or MAKO.. made from Foam board/ Depron/ EPP/ Corro / or similar, flies like a dream. Our club had an event but no one wrote about it... I have done a build blog. Super plane to fly and very easy to build... try that to start with.. 150 to 200 watt motor around 10 USD, 30 amp ESC around 15$ and 3 x10 gram servos... 1300 to 2200mah lipos 3 cell.

How nice Gusty... How long ago was that....Is this still in use in IAF? Mark has got orders on it from all over the world after this show.. he is busy building the kits and has done quite a few already.. It took him some time getting it to scale and making jigs for all the details..

By the way..Happy Belated Birthday Gusty..... Hope you have a great year ahead my friend!!

I saw the build log, some details are missing, one that would definitely affect flying characteristics is, Jet provost has
1. 'Frise Ailerons' (to prevent adverse aileron drag, this could be compensated by differential ailerons through radio)
2. Vortex Generators (To prevent vicious wing drop on finals)
3. Root Spoilers (To make root stalls first before tips so that she doesnt wing drop during stall)

Another small observation is Martin Baker seats 'Face Blind' Handle comes above the helmet :)

@b4ggu
Just saw the pics.
An eye opener for a guy like me who has never even seen a slope, let alone a PSS!
