It took about 34 days to arrive. I ordered it from Euro Warehouse, Hobbyking.com.
Its definitely worth $69.99. Its also an EXCELLENT choice for beginners as it is made of EPP foam (unbreakable !)
I strongly recommend a beginner to buy this.It can handle almost an heavy FPV system.
No doubt, it got stuck in customs, just had to show the invoice and it got cleared.
I assembled the entire aircraft in about 3-4 hours
Dry weight(without Lipo) - 1200grams
Length - 45"
Wingspan - 71" (1.8m)
Setup -
2800mAh 3S 30C Lipo (this is only temporary, later i will be using 2 x 2S 5000mAh lipos in parallel to get 7.4v 10,000mAh !! (:|~ )
1660Kv 40amp Brushless motor
50amp ESC
7A, 5V UBEC
4 x metal gear servos from HK
AR6200 with remote Rx
Tx - Spektrum DX6i

Your feedback would be appreciated :D

Can you point me to the motor you are using?

1. Any reason for using a 2S ? I agree its a slow flyer, but again!
2. Go for a 60Amp Esc
3. Go for Henge MG DS922 servos. HK/HXT servos suck
4. BEC is a good choice. Better use a separate 2s/610mAH Lipo
All the best... see it soon. I am myself looking for a bigger cockpit than that of AXN.
From the photos, i think, the trailing edge of the wing needs to be reinforced, the wing hold down rubberband seems to be eating into the foam.
seems like a firebird commander except the v tail :)

This setup uses a 10x7 APC thin electric prop. Its amazing and comes balanced right out of the box. APC rules \m/ !!
I used 5 min epoxy and feviquick.

1. My aim is to get long hours of flight. I could have gone for a 2x 3S 5000mAh packs, but that would make a plane a little too heavy... 2S will run it just fine + lesser heat
2. Yes, later I am planning to upgrade to a Turnigy Plush 60amp
3. Haha...yes...Hxt servos seriously SUCK  I bought these and they are running perfectly fine, delivering the required output. :) :-

Wrong funda. Higher Voltage of 3S means (provided Motor supports) lower Amp for same power at 2s. So cooler the ESC would be. And you have to find the sweet spot between larger battery and longer flight time. Much should depend on balancing the CG, if you ask me earnestly.
oh.
I didn't know that. :/
I really need to meet you Ujjwal :D
I WILL try my best to make it at Hoskote this Sunday :)
That is an excellent purchase Samanth..all the best..happy flying
