You are from Chennai Nitesh.... mind you it is chennai where I used to go to find the electronic component not available any where in india.

If you say you did not find it then you did not try enough. Please move out of your spot and try.

rcrcnitesh

Will go to ritchie street when i get time.
I am not able to remove the magnet from the earphone.

Great. This is easy.

OK what phones you have have the magnet and iron cores riveted. To remove this what you do is remove the circuit piece behind the phone with knife. Now you will get access to the beveled end which has been struck bevel to lock. Just grind it with a flat file after covering front of phone with cellophane tape to prevent iron dust into magnet.

Since rivet is alluminium you will be able to grind flat to the iron plate in seconds. Then just knock the rivet out with a pin. the magnet will now come free with a small pry with pointed tip if not already.

Sir this is not a phone it is a headphone.

@ Nitesh  :o :o You thought I don't know the difference  :giggle:  :giggle: :giggle:

Hats off to you Nitesh.  8-)

I am sure I know all types Nitesh, headphones, earphones, megaphone, gramophone,  telephone, mobile phone, microphone,  and many more and all of them have one device common to all of them which is a "phone" . Which is a device which produces, senses  and Transmits speech/ sound and one such you are holding in your hand.

rcrcnitesh

Sundaram Uncle (can I call you Uncle) i have finished grinding the damn beveled edge of the rivet but still the damn magnet is not coming out   :headscratch:.

Absolutely no way you are calling me your uncle buddy. I am in no way your uncle whatever your age might be.  :giggle:

Do you throw your bat in this easily with everything in your life.

Please read what I have posted again. After grinding the beveled edge at the back of earphone flat till the iron plate you need to knock out the rivet from behind the earphone piece with a pointed tip of lesser diameter than the rivet.

I have ten sets of such magnets with me recovered from all the old headphones of mobile phones of all make and brand. So what I am telling you is not a fairy tale but purely out of personal experience and not from any Google.

OK sir I tried knocking it with a safety pin but still no use will try posting a video.
Update: removed the magnets using extra force.

That's Good buddy congrads. Good job that you have been able to remove it.
I hope the magnet has not shattered in the process. If the nickle coating has come of then the magnet will keep disintegrating over time (asking this because you mentioned that you had to use quite a bit of force to remove the magnet).
Now remove the iron disk with a hole for rivet stuck on the magnet also. You can use this magnet for actuator.

What was the dia and thickness of the magnet and if possible please post photos while let me also post whats available with me.

rcrcnitesh

Photos of my magnet.

Dia and thickness in mm?

Can I assume you have a pair of each of the three types since you have taken from headphones?

rcrcnitesh

No not a pair I just removed one of the headphone and experimented.
dimensions of the first one is 6mmx1mm
      ""         "" ""   second "" is 6mmx1.5mm
    ""       ""   ""      third "" is 6mmx1mm

hi sailkit,im here reading and learning as im not to much into electronics never done courses or any thing in electronics so every thing  seems to be bouncers to me. dont even no proper soldering reading and learning is helping , i dont plan or using actuators either linear servos or servos will be ok for me.how about this rx http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__14352__FrSky_V8R4_II_2_4Ghz_4CH_Receiver.html

I have seen the hobbyking link (i doubt its compatible with futaba).
