Hi Abhijeet. If you are new in flying, and just have the urge to fly a Mirage, I would suggest you to start flying with a Highwinger  plane after couple of hours on Simulator (10+ hrs, more the better).

Easy Star is a good learning platform:

If you are bent upon learning on a Delta winger like I did, go for a Multiplex Funjet. Its Elapor material is much crasah proof and easily repairable

Please do search the forum about the said seller (or any other seller for that matter).

Also, just for your consideration... if this is your second ever plane, there might be better choices than an EDF jet.

well anwar actually i dont want to turn back to glowplug engine models, coz i found myself sometimes very frustrated with starting problems, engine tunning headache, of my previous flight...i found electric rc very user friendly, clean, and less problematic, i want to have my next model ready to fly in matter minutes next time when i go to field, and thts what made me think about electric edf option..

I did not imply "electric models" in general, in fact they are preferred to start out.  But "EDF Jet"s may not be beginner friendly, and there are tons of discussions here on which electric models may work better :)

so what do u think i shall do, buy an edf jet or not, cause i have already flown a high winger balsa model which is much better in experence than flying an electric propeller RC, i m looking for something new in design and shape, standard looking high winger model with commonly looking traditional shape dont attract me to much, i m looking for someting different a change

rcpilotacro

if you want it between your forehead and straight, NO EDF

Apart from Karthik Shah (RC Dhamaka) who will help you out, you have Praveen (http://flying--rc.blogspot.com/), you have Mr sai ,

Apple box with Mr Sharma's engine, gr8 aeroplane to fly isn't it ?

A Good pilot will practice until he gets it right,
A Great pilot will practice until he can't get it wrong.

I have witnessed the same plane crash on its first flight. It was underpowered quite a bit . Not the best power set up. It just stalled and fell out of the sky. I agree with the other experienced flyers , you should go for a highwing trainer , even if it might not be as attractive as the EDF. But you do have cessna's too!
Happy flying ,

That brings back to my point. Flying a slow flyer and forgive, stable plane like apple box and moving straight to an EDF Delta low winger is an extreme step. If you dont have experienced high reflex demands, your Mirage2000 would meet the same fate of Apple Box. I would highly recommend Fun Jet instead of mirage200 EDF

1. It like taking one step at a time - its fast, but not as demanding like EDF
2. It much crash proof. You can have enough crashes till you are ready to fly it well
3. You may later upgrade to higher power system to make it incredible fast (faster than many EDF)
4. Funjet is much trusted platform vis a vis refinements compared to almost all such EDF jets which have a very small life-cycle (try getting one again after 6month and its gone). They hardly do as much research on such low selling models, unlike Funjet which is running strong for the past 4-5 years if I am correct.

hi there, trainer to jets!! man thats a BIG leap!!! U seem to be stuck on to jets and i know why... i use to feel the same way when i started out. Bought my first highwing .46 glow engine trainer and just 5 flights later traded it for an straight wing aerobatic glow plane >:D...which i have it even today after 10 years or so (no electric planes back then). The reason that i didnt upgrade to more extreme performance 3D kind of glow planes for such so long is that i m still learning. ..Still trying to overcome bad habits i got back then & there is soo much to learn for becomming a good rc pilot:o .....i'd advice u to go for a mild flyer which can perform basic aerobatics too. Cessna like (highwingers..ohh boy not again..right?) electric birds are very good funfly kind of planes. Trust me, u'll have a good time flying those and save u bundles of bucks too!

U may be a very good learner and pick things up very quickly ...and i may be wrong(not judging U at all)!!
but all i'm saying is that just go a easy on it... ;) control ur emotions 8-)

cheers.

Funjet is available at rcforall. There are many other LHS's, please visit the mega list of Rc outlets and resellers and look at their feedbacks and then decide.
