After the Huge MOSS 4 X it was time to make a small day to day FPV platform .
After flying FPV over the past few months I found that a pusher OR a twin motor set up is the best for FPV rather than a nose mounted Motor .
So was born the Idea of MOSS BOX ;D
The Plane is a pusher with following specs :
Wing Span : 52 "
Length : 36 "
Motor : 803M-5T Astro 020 Direct Drive Motor
Prop : 6 x 4 APC
Battery : Desire Power 11.1V 2600 mah 25 C
Controls : 3 channel rudder/elevator
Rc : Assan 2.4 G
Box dimension for Equipment : 18" X 4.25" x 4.25"
Servos : DY 0206 x 2 nos

Though I have not tried it as yet with an FPV Set up but the platform seems stable enough to mount FPV gear on .

60X40 may be a little too much for this set up.
a 5.5 X4 as per specs will draw 23Amps.
and is the rated max.
though one can easily manage with throttle control.

The Current draw was not too excessive neither did the motor get hot , did not check with a meter as I did not have one at the field but after around 10 mins in the air the Battery voltage dropped from 4.16 till around 3.93 per cell. will check with a watt meter sometime

Sai,
Is the wing also made from coro? If yes, how did you manage to get that shape? ???

Yes Vinay the wing is also coro I made a simple aero foiled wing for the horizontal , cut out 2 pieces of coro in the shape of a sector cut 6 pieces from a cycle spoke of around 2 " each bent these pieces at the center to an angle of around 5-8 degrees from horizontal ( did not measure the angle correctly ) inserted then into the flutes in the horizontal wing and cynoed them into the flutes then inserted the sectors to these and cynoed it , reinforced the joint with cello tape on both sides .
See the photos in this post by Subu : http://www.rcindia.org/electric-planes/mr-moss-glider-arf-kit-step-by-step-build-guide-(from-rcforall)/25/
Instead of the usual MOSS polys this one is a sector but with a slightly lower angle .

Thanks sai, Got your point. :salute:
sir, is it a beginner plane? what is the cost of this plane? ;D
@rj varun, it seems you are searching for a beginner plane. So, first you need to tell about your flying skills buddy. Also, whether you have a radio and flight simulator or not. Then comes to a plane. See, if you want to build yourself, then go for Mr. Moss. This is a very simple plane that require beginner level building skills. You can also, order a kit of Mr. Moss from muav.in. Very easy to build kit that consists of all the things required. Otherwise, later on go for an RTF easy star or skysurfer.
