Maidened the Multiplex Funjet  this weekend  here is the Video :

The plane was toooooooo  fast for my  aging  Photographing abilities  ;D ;D

Set Up :

Motor : Turborix 2836/2200 KV Out runner
Prop : master airscrew 6 x 4
Battery : 11.1V 2200 mah Lipo
Servos :  RCFORALL DY 0219 ( 15 gms ) Metal Gear  same size of  the usual 9 gms servo but with metal gears
Assan 2.4 G rx .

The power consumption was quite low  for this kind of set up , Voltage dropped from 4.12 V per cell to around 3.85 V per cell in around 7-8 minutes of flying .

Nice stuff........ but do be extra cautious when you toss the plane the way you do, you could nick ur finger on the prop...... has happened to me btw. keep up the good work.... seems like you are going the multiplex way all the way!

Nice plane.   :thumbsup:

Noticed that it almost went into a stall just before landing.  Hope it did not crash.  For Multiplex, even that is sort of a non-issue.

The Canopy flew off at around 100 ft altitude and it came in for landing minus the canopy .

It went into   a funny spin  but landed flat on its bottom side finally  without a scratch  fitted back the canopy and off she went again  ;D {:)}

awesome uncle!
i was fortunate enough to be present to watch the funjet fly!  ;D  it flies  fast and can sure make exciting maneuvers
one more thing that surprises me was that the jet glides really well even when the throttle is cut!  :o
